Through funded programmes we act as space matchers between space owners and space users. We’re here to unlock spaces and places for all the social entrepreneurs, trailblazers, graduates, creatives and positive change makers out there.

  1. LOCATION PARTNERS

Through funded projects we work as space and location partners to deliver alternative uses to the High Street and other areas of the city. We are currently working on the following projects:

  • Meanwhile Use in Plymouth

In collaboration with Plymouth Culture, Plymouth City Council and The City Centre Company, we are currently working on a programme of meanwhile uses taking over vacant shop units in the city centre.

The programme has run from September 2021 and will finish in March 2023.

This project has been funded by Historic England’s Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) programme and the EU funded C-CARE Interreg Partnership Funding.

2. POP UP SHOP

We run a pop up space on the High Street in Plymouth that functions as a test bed for ideas and collaborations. We work with other organisations to occupy the space. The pop up shop is:

A space for creatives and startups to test ideas and products on the High Street for a short period of time, in a more risk free manner.

3. RESEARCH

We undertake strategic research with partners to further understand the ownership landscape in Plymouth, as well alternative ways for spaces to be opened up to organisations and individuals.

4. DESIGN SERVICES

We can help you navigate through the process of inhabiting your space. Whether that be bouncing ideas and visualising possibilities, through the planning process, gaining building control approval, overseeing construction works or just interior design and product procurement so you can occupy your space.
