We are offering a unique space on the High Street in Plymouth called Vacancy! The pop up shop will be available to rent, allowing you to pop up and reach your audience on the High Street. All with flexible terms to suit you and your business.

Why Pop Up?

Test or launch your idea within a pop up space is a great risk free way to see if you business or idea will with us in a risk free environment.

Space on the High Street normally comes with a long lease with a landlord - typically 5 years. We’ve taken on the lease so you don’t have to. This means you can test your idea within a timeframe that suits you.

We believe in the re-invention of the High Street as a space for all manner of uses, including cultural events and community uses. The pop up shop is a space to test and launch ideas.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

(and what isn’t)

Utilities & Rates - All rates and utilities are included with the rental price. This includes: rent, electricity, water etc.

Insurances - We will cover the building, furniture and technology included within the space, you will need to have insurance for anything you bring into the space, including all stock, furniture and personal items.

Furniture - We have some items of furniture that can be used, and you are welcome to populate the space with any of your own props / furniture. Due to the varied nature of what the space is used for, we can only provide some of the basics - this includes a number of chairs, a few shelves and a couple of tables.

Point of Sale - Our research shows that most people already have a portable point of sale, such as ‘sum up’, and these are not too expensive to buy, and will offer cheaper payment options than a point of sale administered by us.

Promotion of your pop up - We can offer promotion of your pop up through our dedicated social media channels, and our partners such as Plymouth Culture. This will ensure you reach new audiences in Plymouth.

Food and drink - Food can be sold on the premises but must be prepared off site. Alcohol can be served subject to the relevant licences being attained.
